I like the idea of a 3D Printed Pivot.
IF you read back "a few centurys ago"
I used some plastic from a Pop bottle to "Edge" the pivot boss's.
But , I didn't have a 3Dprinter back then.

Nice looking build, regardless of pivot technique.

So after I sourced foam WITHOUT paper, now you are putting back on ! ? ;>} kidding

I know, the sweet irony
Speaking of which, did you see my email about Depron availability in the US?

No I must have missed it.

I know of a former Oregon now in Texas guy who has some depron.

But just as I was about to try some he upped his price by $40.
Which by my calculations made the stuff go up from ~$10 per sheet to Over $12 per sheet.

Add to that the irritation of having to rework ALL my CNC cutitng files because
the size is different.

Early depron was 1000mm x 700mm, then they left the market
and I reworked to suit the MFP format of 48"x24".

With a return of depron it's current size is YET ANOTHER FORMAT size ! argh !
and 2x+ the cost of MPF.

So my motivation is quite low, like close to zero.

Yeah, the sizes are different from the old stuff. I had layouts for my own stuff and had to rework it myself. Your foam is nice, though. No complaints.

Thanks for comps.

I'm just getting grumpy over the pending end of my tiny business.

Then again, I will have lots of time to finish a countless number of partially started builds.

I'm late to the game here, but recently bought a kit from BirdOfPlay and was able to maiden it today. When you have an infant in the house, it takes away a lot of building time.

AUW is just under 20 oz. with a 2200 mah battery (I don't have any 1200 or 1600 packs). The plane took right off, and as most have said, just needed a couple of clicks up up elevator to fly straight and level.

This is indeed a fun build and a fun fly. This was my first foam board build and I really enjoyed it. Thanks to those who made it happen.
