Hopefully here you can see the notch the spar was in and see that it didn't continue into the plane. |

Went and flew it today after completed repairs. Still needs new paint:
http://imgur.com/a/vK8SP The current problem I have is that the ESC is overheating even though I attempted to cut some flow veins into the bottom. I'll have to look into why that may be the case. Blog Entry: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/member.php?u=197010 |

Clearly this gentleman made a mistake which caused the fatal crash of his plane . Even thou it had nothing to do with your kit you sent him new wings and extra foam to do the repair. Boy you don't find that kind of service now a days Hopefully his plane is up and running and looking forward to make a purchase from you in the near future. |

thanx spaced ! :-)
ESC too hot ... hmmmm ... Just some speculations: Plane is too heavy, ESC is too small for motor or number of cells. Cheap ESC with older, higher resistance FETs. Over propped motor Agreed there is little room for cooling passages As I keep saying this is supposed to be a Lightly built and powered model. It's plenty fast without over powering it AKA Swept back wing mode !!! OR wings forward it flys almost trainer like. Plus light builds put low stress on those BOSS's that are holding the wings on ! Just sayin' ;>} |

Well Done and on a larger scale too.
I can see some good use of CF here and there. I'll wager that you could increase power just a bit and get a great vertical performer ! Not too much , as its a great floater "Wings Out". If you have some nice soft thick grass to Plop into, it'll Harrier all the way to the ground . I've shipped out hundreds of these. It is good to see some resurrection of interest in his thread. It's been around since the mid 2000's . Bob @ Hoosier Cutout Service |

I bought a standard size one a few years ago from a friend . I gave it away last year and when I bought some 10mm foam I could not think of anything more worthy of up scaling .
Printed out the 58 inch plan and a few weeks later this is the result . Its a great flier and impressed all who saw it fly . I do have a slightly larger motor but to get COG with the one I am using I had to lengthen the motor wires a fair bit and fit the 3000mah 4 cell up in the nose. I will try the bigger motor out but may need to use a bigger pack to get it to balance . |
