Long time newbie
Just wanted to say that I voted for this plane in the 2007 Foamie of the Year thread. I hope to try and build this in the near future.

Thanks!

Perfect maiden flight this morning. I zeroed the control surfaces, put the battery in at the same CG location I have been using on the Mk1, gave her a toss with 3/4 throttle and she tracked out like she was on rails. Two clicks of right trim and a few clicks up were all that was needed for hands-off flight. The 2 degrees of upthrust added on the Mk2 is a noticeable improvement... This one flies even better than the first. Flying weight came in at 13oz with 1320 Evolite and the total flight time was about 14 minutes. I'll get some video up shortly.

Cheers

Maybz,

I saved the plans for the MK2, but don't remember seeing the new manual. Is it in a different place?

Can't wait to see you new video of the MK2

No Mk2 manual yet.. but you can use the build log for now.

ProTarget,

Wow, that was fast. I was just looking at their site. They have the scratch & dent sale going on. 10 sheets of the 10" X 30" gray for $12.00
I know it calls for 3 sheets of 13 X 39, but with 10 sheets of 10 x 30, I am hoping that will be plenty.

Thanks,
Capt. Randy

Like everyone here, awsome plans and great build. I'd like to buy a kit when it becomes available. I down loaded the plans but just don't have the time!

Thanks,
Evelys

Aloha everyone. I buy my foam form Neil at RCFoams also. Very fair pice, great service and reasonable shipping even to Hawaii. I wish him well, he seems to care about his customers. I've been in this hobby for less than 2 years and it always amazes me that people in this hobby will go out of their way to better the hobby or help a fellow flyer. Guys like Maybz doing all that work on developing a design, watch it succeed and ask nothing in return. I for one am greatful for fliers like him that share their designs freely. Thanks Matbz, may your days be blessed with clear skies and calm winds.
