Mountain Models Dandy

Well, I picked her up from the post office today and 2.5 hours later here is where I am at. Let me start by saying this is by far the easiest and fastest builds yet. Doug has added a lot of great little extras like: Removable LG, hinged battery hatch and a two piece wing. I hope to get her sanded, elec installed , covered and in the air tomorrow. But so far I love it!

Hi Gene, I will probably bring it out to 106th and Cumberland on Sat or Sunday as long as the weather lets me.
I think Doug has really hit the nail on the head with this one (again). I used to think the DS and the MF were easy but this makes those look hard!

Figures, I'm in Detroit this weekend. I'd love to run up there and see it. My son is supposed to beta it, too. He hasn't built anything to speak of yet, other than a SlowStick and some BluCor experiments. It'llgive Doug a great 'inside view' from the mind of a 15 year old (that may be an oxymoron )

I'm really looking forward to his success on his first kit. I'm not looking forward to his first repairs.

I bet this one would make a great model for a light system for night flying...

Kevin: Maybe Cathode could make it, and get some pictures and video....

Doug: Thanks!

Now the question, do I wait for Christmas to let him know....?
