Kit boats are viable options for all levels of RC Sailors. When Martin started this thread years ago, he provided information on a number of companies that offered "kits" - as in any industry, the hobby business experiences changes and some of the information provided at that time has changed. Breaking wind Boats is no longer selling boats. Also the Dragon Force RG65 can not be built from scratch, would not be able to sail as DF65 One Design. Also Tippecanoe produces a US1 Meter hill. The Bob Stern design Venom, one of the best of not these US1meter made. |

A correction on Thunder Tiger Model Products is they do sell direct to the consumer, I believe I paid around $48 International Shipping on the one I received from them, as Tower Hobbies no longer shows them in their catalog as a vendor. Also no longer found on Amazon to my knowledge.
