Beware flying in Norfolk parks. As far as I know it's against city ordinance and you can be ticketed for it.

I think Tarrallton is ok.

I'm fully aware of the new city ordinance change. Tarrallton Community Center park allows flying of model aircraft. Even had a cop admire my jet one time when he was doing his patrol runs around the neighborhood so I guess it's okay.

OceanView Beaches would be cool to fly if you have a belly lander or quad

Once I get my FPV setup better I'm headed out to the beach for some flying. Off season of course.

I've actually flown in one of the Oceanview beach areas a couple of months ago before summer started and it was quite unique, at least for me since I've never flown in such an area before. I'll definitely go if one of you guys actually plan on flying there and the weather's great.

Well at least your work/storage area looks clean. I was doing some surgery on the quad last night in a effort to clean up the wiring and took this. My desk really makes me look like a slob but I'm simply out of room in my garage. I've got crap everywhere.

Maybe it's time to thin the fleet a bit?

Quick question about the construction site by 3O. Does anyone know if there are some workers that still work there after 4 or 5pm? Any problems or legal issues one might face if attempting to fly there? Looking to fly there tomorrow right after work if I get out early enough.

Hey everyone! Great news! I've contacted the mayor of VB and he said they allow flying at our local parks. Typically it requires notice ahead of time but is usually approved or perhaps a regular flying schedule can be arranged. I'll post the full text when I get home. Over all it was a very positive reply from the desk of the mayor.
