Fall Colors and Morning Fog

How about a thread sharing some of your great fall color AP?

Here are mine from Sunday morning mixed with some cool fog off of the lake...

Beautiful indeed!

What caused the "linear cloud" in the sixth picture?

Thanks guys!
I can't explain the linear cloud. It was actually fog coming off of the "warm" lake. I think the wind was blowing the fog that direction. In one of the pictures you can see a large area of fog. That was an hour later, the wind had changed direction and started pushing the fog a different direction (over the flying field!).

All of the better pictures from that morning are here:

Those are not only beautiful, they are unusual with all the fog in a straight line. Really neat!

Very cool.

What lake is that?

EDIT:
After searching google maps it must be Alum Creek lake (south end)?

That's it! The flying field is on park property on the south end of the lake.

Very cool... I got some pics of our first frost the other day but fog is even better. Adds a little more danger to flying as well

nice!

C3020 - heavy camera! I finally/recently stopped using my similar C3000 (got the Nikon P5000 for general use, the the Fuji F20 for AP).

Nice Shots Mr Pibb.

Got to love that Telemaster and it's unlimited (more or less) payload.

Yep, the Telemaster doesn't even seem to flinch with the extra pound hanging off of the side! With that, a 5s2p A123 battery pack, and wireless video gear it still floats. I do have to add a little right aileron trim to balance the weight on the side.

Yes Pibb, REALLY nice. Do you recall what the wind was like? I'd tend to think the flow on the two sides of the lake, at least on the surface and as gentle as it probably was, was in two different directions.
