MAV - Micro Aerial Vehicle for AP


This is a Micro Aerial Vehicle called an MAV. See the video below.

Nice find! Interesting "radio" setup. Makes sense for a wireless connection, but it can fly over a mile??? My wireless router barely sends signal 40 feet! LOL

Inside joke.

The FAA is alluding that mini UAV's may need N numbers (the registration numbers or "tail numbers" seen on all civil aircraft)
The joke is that the numbers are required to be of a particular size that is considerably larger than most of our planes.
Maybe a cellophane banner towed behind??

Good, then if you manage to capture Extreme Aircraft II when it airs again and can post video, please post the section with all of those other types of MAVs. I saw it the other evening and thought I could record it again later that night because they repeat programming around 11 p.m.. Well, this was on a weekend and it didn't re-air that night. It showed several other innovative working MAV designs like the one above.
