I cant wait for it too..but as long as it still sits in China, we are all gonna wait around the camp fire..singing song..
Anyway, i m starting a blog site in blogspot. Sort of a GWS A-4 support group. Like being in a "club". Gonna put up a flag of every country that a GWS A-4 can be found. So i hope you guys can help out.

I don't normally do blogs. I have never personally done one. But doesn't RCG have a setup where you can do a blog on here somewhere? I think that would be the easiest way for everyone to find update or answer any questions.

So an average of 26oz of thrust and 33oz AUW = .78:1 Thrust to weight ratio. Thats not too bad. At the cost of an average 34.5 amps most 2200 20C packs should be ok with that. Mind you though thats on 3S. Wonder what 4S numbers would be?

Which A-4 is GWS modeled after?

For some reason the GWS A-4 picture does not look like the real one I have seen. Which sub variant of A-4 is GWS version modeled after? The real one I see has humped back.

There were several variants including ones without the humped back. The hump that started showing up in the later models of the A-4. The hump on the back of the later model A-4's is the avionics hump. I can remember the exact reason for why they put the avionics on the back or top of the plane but the best off top of my head answer would be room. The A-4 is a fairly small airframe with not much nose to house avionics. That would be the quick answer. GWS is modeling the 2 seat trainer version of the aircraft the TA-4 2 Seat Trainer. I attatched a few pics of them.
