Kyosho Cessna 180... anyone???

I'am contemplating on buying this plane but wants some expert opinion from anybody who owns and fly it. E-zone reviewed this and found the stock 550 motor with the recommended battery UNDERPOWERED! They then used their own motor/batt. config. to fly this good-my question is-can this baby fly good with the stock 550 motor and a diff. battery? I don't want to spend anymore money than I need. The price is certainly pleasing at only $79.00 ( more than what I paid for her little cousin ferias as 99.) I know it will help using a micro servos. Thanks so much for any bit of info. you can provide me!

There is a thread on this plane at the open discussion forum.

I am going to use a GP 3.8:1 gearbox with a 11X7 3/4 prop on the stock motor with 7 or 8 cells.
www.sureflite.com sells a 53" Cessna that would take some converting for E use but might end up being a better plane. If Tower can't get me a usable fuselage I may send the Kyosho back and get the Sure Flight.

Good Luck
Ray
