Hornet CP.....part 3.....Inverted

I am starting a third part to this saga. I finally received the digital camera that I had been waiting for. I need to learn how to use it to get the best performance, but in the mean time I had a friend shoot a few pics today at the field. These shots are of my CP flybarless Hornet. Enjoy

I have a bone to pick with you. How will I ever convince anyone to trade their Hornet for my Shuttle when you post pictures like this.

Great work Walt, can you post some pics of the new rotor head with new swash plate installed?

Thanks much and congrats

Hey John, yeh sounds like you will just have to sale that shuttle and buy a hornet, and if you wait till mid sept , you can just buy the cp hornet, ??????????? ,
yeh this cp should help out my 010 set up ? Cyhyam and John, with fixed pitch requires more power hu??????
Cyhyam , nice hornet, did you ever get it to do tighter loops?
Now we want a movie he he , that would be nice, only if I can just do a good flip I will be happy for now ,

Yea Tony, I agree.

I've gotten almost no response for the trade, I think the timing was wrong with MS announcing CP. If I get no response by Wed, off to Ebay I think. Anyone hear rumors as to how much the basic CP kit will cost? This may determine what my minimum bid will be (wink).

The pitch curve looks sorta wierd, "S" shaped very steep in the middle and flat on the ends, because you can't pull much pitch before slowing the motor. Also I run a 3/4 stick hover. The t/r curve (revo) is normal and the onlt mix is pitch to elev causing a small forward tilt in the swash at the pitch extremes, upright and invert.

Hi,John well , I dont know what the overall cost is going to be , but Im expecting a 50 to 100 bucks more for the kit , here is email after I tried to preorder one the other day , that I just got this morning, so no (DATE) YET!
and you should be able to get your asking price for the shuttle (300.00) I think that was your asking price,
Cyhyam : Im heading south for the winter in Oct. for a few weeks , where in the world are you ? Ca. if so, man I might have to talk my wife in to taking a trip to disneyland there instead of fla. but I dont know yet if I can do that. but its worth a try.
John need to know your addres to again , lost yours , I setting up my Vac. now here at work for 4 weeks off, man I just took 5 weeks off this past hitch, during the summer , well half winter weather during july , one day might be 40 then the next day 60, and only 1 day did it get 70 degrees in july, man I sure miss warm weather, and swimming, Tony

Dear Tony,

the CP version will be available later this yoer only. Because of this, we can
not accept your preorder.
The availability will be announced on our website and in the discussion forums.

Best Regards

Awesome. Sooo cool.

I'm looking forward to doing CP, will probably wait for MS's upgrade since I have no experience with CP and probably shouldn't start with a flybarless scratchbuild. But it still looks like the coolest thing on 2 skids...

Thats cool have definately raised the ante in the micro CP heli world. Its cool to see someone have a heli that flies like they claim. I asked (numerous times) for pictures from another guy but he ignored me. I guess not seeing pictures speaks for itself! Keep up the good you have any shots of your Hornet flying over or near water??? A swimming pool perhaps?
