The M8/M11 module can be used in Germany. ALL of our modules have an external antenna. The internal antennas were abandoned because people were not willing to use something that didn't have a visible antenna (although it makes little difference in performance).

Great. That sounds good and i will order one.

In your online shop there is a picture of the M8/M11 module, looking different to the other modules with the "long" antenna.

Is that an old picture, and the module now has the same antenna like the others?

Yes, that is an old picture.

And I thought you've changed the antenna following some "incidences" in LV few years back. but then again, i might be wrong.

Las Vegas has spot beam radar that the higher gain antenna can help with, but the biggest reason for the change was the fact that people were freaked out by not seeing some type of antenna.

Freq separations

Not sure where to ask this. I'm new to 2.4GHz.
How is the 2.4GHz separated for use either Land (boats) from Aircraft, or was that only for the old FM 75MHz systems?

2.4GHz can be used for all types of R/C devices.

update

i maybe rip van winkle here, but i have been away for a number of years.

i got at toledo a module for jr and one of those pointy pyramid antenna rx.
this was just when you were starting to market them. i never used it for i went to spectrum because of the availability of park flyer recievers. there was also a time when production was slow and hard to get product back then.

i have been told there is an upgrade of software and a new case?? what is the cost and are there options?

can this rx be used in carbon supra type fuse? I see you have rx with long antenna leads, so i am confused. can they both work in carbon environments? I tried go through the posts for info but...................

looking to use this product now. thanks

Bill, send in your system. The upgrade for people who purchasd the original system in Toledo is free. Please note what radio your system is to be used in.

The sailplane receiver is designed for carbon applications (you run the antenna outside of the carbon).

upgrade

i dont need to get a rma number?

i got the jr system to use in ,at that time, my 347 or 8303. i had thought the old pyramid antenna rx could be used in carbon fuses. i remember you had used it in jet planes at that time. just seeking clarification.

No RMA number is needed. We will know right away that your system is one of the first ones sold. Just include a return address and we will send you all new pieces.
