LOL. I figured it would not take long. I called up this morning when he had one left. I backed out at the last minute....decided to get some battery packs at my LHS instead.

My time will come. By the way...this threads rocks!

Guys, I know this is sacrilegious but I need to fund a new glow project so I am putting the Taylor Craft up for sale locally. The posting is in the "for sale" forum with pictures and details. This is a LOCAL sale only (Plano, TX) so please don't ask if I will ship. Sorry, this thing just cannot be shipped.

Just and FYI - I recived my Taylorcraft 450 from Ray & Robin's Hobby today. They shipped it as said and it arraived in good conditionand well pakaged. From there web site, it looks to be a pretty nice LHS. If I ever find myself in there neck of the woods it might be worth a visit.

Hi Trey,

Glad they could help you out and that it arrived okay. The website doesn't represent the physical store but is instead a warehouse inventory available to the shop. A lot of people miss the note on the web page and assume that everything is on the shelf in Falmouth. There is a lot of great stuff there and a great staff of people, but not everything on the website is actually in the store.

Happy flying!

One taylorcraft in stock in MA

Hi All, I went to Hobby USA in Ashland MA today at lunch to pick up some props. He has one Taylorcraft on the shelf. He told me Horizon is raising the price on future shipments by $20.00 so this is the last one he will have at the old price.

The owner is named Bob Rice, 508-881-1700

Sorry to assume, Trey. I work a couple of Saturdays a month at the store and you wouldn't believe the number of people who get bent out of shape over the website inventory and the actual store inventory. My message was aimed at the general public who might take a look at the store.

Has anyone else found a good float source for the TC? it sure is a lot of fun!

What could go wrong?
Wingbeat, Thanks for the post of where's waldo, er I mean where is a Taylorcraft. I called Greenfield News and Hobby and it is being shipped. I called my local hobbyshop and they said it will be the end of June and the price has gone up. So I supported your local hobbyshop!
Thanks for the lead,
Randy
