Yeah, I figured on top of a miniature stack of phone books the smoking cupcakes- Jerome Brown and Pink- could be giving the whole smoking gang a lift to Burning Man.

In the Taylorcraft of course, just so this isn't OT.

ROTFLMAO!!!!

My Father-in-law is always bugging me that none of my planes have pilots. I think I just found one (if they are the right size that is)!

That's a beauty! So that's where the paint scheme came from. How about the mods to the tail... did I get it right in this post?

Compare the Horizon Hobby photo to the original.
Looks great!!

Here's an interesting FAA link for the N number:
http://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinqu...9&cmndfind.y=8

I hope that the Product Developers at E-flite will make a float set availble just like they did for the J3. The ease of water/land operation with a float set really adds to the flying thrill(s). I would add a set to my backorder if available

I will say there is no current plan to provide floats for our park flyer line. Sorry about that, I would recommend you look elsewhere if you want to put it on floats. It would be truly awesome I have to say.

Sorry.

Where's the lift?

I'm going to get in line for this one... have a nice OS15FP that needs a new home. It's not a perfect replica of a stock BC-12D, but plenty close enough, and I do so like the classic color scheme. For one who has too many Cubs, the T'cart is a welcome change.

Sources for floats:
http://www.seacommander.com/seafoam.asp

http://www.slocanfloats.ca/page4.html

The floats should be 75% of the plane's length, which is 35 inches therfore the floats should be 27 inches long.

Anyone else know of other sources please post.

Thanks,
Don

Hey, how about the E-Flite's J3 Cub 25 size floats? Would they be too large?

Skis and floats would definitely be a blast!
Let us know if you find a good float- otherwise it doesn't seem that they'd be that hard to do out of blue foam and glass.

Here's images from the Sea Foam website.
Looks like they have a quality product and good price.
Only need to figure out how to mount them.
I think the J3 floats would be too long.
