sq0nk, sounds like it was your lucky day. It even hurt me to see a crashed TC. I'm glad you found another so readily.

It was my lucky day for sure. I couldn't believe it when I saw the ad on Cragslist.

Looks like the guy has some other planes as well. May have a few new projects ahead. It never ends does it?

Wow that is a great price!!! I am so tempted.

Now would that fly on 4s or would you need 5s/6s?

87.4" span & 3Kg (6.6lbs), 5065 brushless. Doesn't sound right. I'd expect at least double that weight & 10s power.

Shipping to the U.S. is an additional $136, bringing the cost to about $311.

I think the advertised weight is quite a bit low. My 80" H9 Cub weighs in at 8.5 lbs - although it does well with a Turnigy 50-55B motor and 5000mAh 4S lipo.

Even at $311.00 i think its a great deal,,,,,the only other TC out there is like $800.00 ? maybe more i cant remember,,too much for one of my toys ,,especially when you nose over in a rough field,,,im sure it would fly fine on 6s lipo,,it has great big ailerons on there but i wouldnt want to 3d the thing or have unlimited vert climb.

I am sure that this has been asked and answered but I am new to the thread and just made up my mind to get the model. Which pilot or size do you recommend?

I've seen many different "pilots" in the ol' tc, including a Snoopy dog - but the one I used was the dad from the Fisher Price Loving Family Dad and Sister set from Walmart. The set ran about 6 bux.

I chopped him off at the belt, made him a headset, and he was ready to fly.
