Charley38...

Wow have you got the planes in there or what...? You got more planes than my LHS...

Looks like you could use about 6 more of those fluorescent fixtures... When I was still engineering for one of the major telecoms here they were tearing out a phone office and going to throw out dozens of commercial grade 4 lamp fluorescent fixtures... Everyone put their names in for these rather than see them head off to the dump because they were in perfect condition so I grabbed 6 of the fixtures and put them in my garage... 24 lamps was a bunch of fluorescent tubes to buy for them but man is that place bright and perfect to work in for my woodworking projects and planes...

Your planes are cool...

Wilit...

I was surprised by the same thing last week and she hung there a good 10 seconds really still, and with only a touch of rudder here and there... I expected her to fall off but that 480 has more than enough to hang her... I can't harrier her with her CG set at factory... She flies inverted really well... I'm still amazed with the lift that little wing offers...

Way too rainy and windy for flying today and we actually had a tornado yesterday over on the coast 90 miles from here so the storms are officially here, but with the BNF planes we have now I'm flying all over the house and especially that crazy little Blade mSR Heli... Years ago we never dreamed we could do precision flying right within our home during bad weather...

Ye man,i use a 10x7 and its perfect all over ,scale fly and nice top end speed, did try 11x 7 but didnt feel much better it just used more amps and less flight time. Magic

I had a nice flying session this morning until I hit a palm tree. My wing tip lightly grazed a palm frond sending my beloved Taylorcraft into a flat spin. After about two revolutions she landed in another tree branch about 6' off the ground. The home owner was nice to allow me to retrieve my plane. It goes to show how your depth perception can deceive you. The good news is it only tore the landing gear off, not one pin hole in the covering apart from the gear area.

Sorry to hear of the damage, but that opening line, "I had a nice flying session this morning until I hit a palm tree." has got to one of the funniest I've ever read!
