My LHS had one sitting on their shelf as of last week when I was there. Here is a link.

The moved huh? Damn.. I went there in January looking for some Trex parts... Went to the old store and it was closed. So then I drove ALL the way up to G&S Hobbies in Oldbridge NJ... (I was staying in Hamilton).

Oh well.. looks like they're doing ok. Same guys?

Took mine out for a flight on Saturday and today after rebuilding it from the first crash (new fuselage, cowling, and windscreen) months ago. I was nervous at first because last time I got it into a spin that wouldn't stop and made a lawn dart. So I need to practice getting out of that maneuver way up high before trying too many wild stunts. Normally I fly helicopters but this plane is really a lot of fun and looks great. I even got my son on the buddy box but we had to "strap in an army guy" and take "him" for a flight.

During the rebuild I got a whole extra kit to have sitting by for parts. Now I see the plane is back ordered with a HUGE price increase (got both of mine for $109). Glad I made that call...

Here is a ground shot of mine and hopefully will get some video and flying shots later.

You certainly did well for $109!

The T-Craft is "cute", but that NEW PRICE has turned me off and I will no longer be ordering one. It ain't THAT cute!

I've ordered a new World Models J-3 Cub for $79.99 which I've always wanted to get anyway at http://ecsvr.com/abm/shopexd.asp?id=1110

$170 for the little E-flite T-Craft is a little too ridiculous for me!

Yep remarkably this little beauty spins like a top - it is normally so tame I didn't think it would do much. That rudder is so effective it really cranks it around getting tighter and tighter. I too was shocked. But mine recovers well, just let airspeed pickup and add some opposite rudder and aileron. It will recover, but I know what you mean!

Spin recovery should be done with down elevator and opposite rudder. Aileron is not normally used.

That price increase is tough. If I lose mine I may have to bite the bullet and pay the price. I like it that much.

I was thinking the same thing... Really puts me in a tough spot.. I think that is too much $$ for an ARF of this size... but I REALLY like it.. and if I happen to ding it I will probably have to go ahead and rebuild/replace it.

I'm glad I bought the airplanes I did earlier this year.. Because I will NOT be buying many more at these prices. It took some real work to convince the finance commitee that she should allow me to buy planes at the lower prices.

Who put that TREE there!!
YIKES!! where have I been? When did the price go all the way up to $169.00!!
I better be real nice to mine because there is no way I will pay $50.00 more than I did for the first one...

It is one of my favorite planes though, and I would be sick if I lost it!

Exactly! That is a lot of disretionary coin for this little T-Craft and there are so many other "fish in the sea" today at far more reasonable cost. As far as I'm concerned, the supply can simply out strip the demand at that new price. I admit I'm impulsive with this hobby, but I'm not stone-drunk stupid!

I bought one in December of 2007 for $109, and it's still in the box. I usually get the "college students and sailors, only" discount, or 30% above retail! For once, I did well. What an amazing price increase!
