The Camera cost me about $19 I think, after I got it on sale from CVS and they had a $10 credit if you got their CVS points card. The cable cost me about $6 or so, I bought Palm pilot III cradle off of Ebay for my kids to download their movies and I just used an old USB mouse cord for my stuff. More info is on my Blog....

I have to say this is very cool, I just got to get the hang of flying nice and slow with just rudder turns. My first test video would have made you throw up from watching it! I'm still tweeking the plane and camera to get the best results so any input would be greatly welcomed.

Well I got the camcorder shrunk even more, took off the LCD screen, ditched the outer case and shrink wrapped the whole thing. Saved a few oz's so I put it on my SLOfly 28 which is a profile FFF 3D plane. Made a quick Vid, not sure how I'm going to mount this in the future (wing or body). I might have to use a mirror to look backwards or something.
I'm amazed that this lite plane can support the camera so well, also with the LCD off the power drain on the shared battery has dropped nicely, no more mid-flight shut offs.
Look at my SLOFLY video above...
