Nice review Ronnie. The FA-18 sounded solid in the air and on the ground. Thanks for the grass segment. By the way when done did you meet the AUW as suggested? More or less?

Excellent review Ronnie!! Is there such thing as a perfect review? Sure there is and it definately looks like this plane/review is one of them.

- The airplane looks great in the air and in the photo gallery.

Nice work bro!!

Great review.
Just one question. How do you guys think this would work as a belly lander? The main gear I could just not install but could the nose gear be removed without having to cut anything?
Cheers Mike

I don't remember exactly but I think you can take the canopy off and get to the linkage that connects it to the servo, I think that is what holds the gear in from the inside, you could also pull the servo out and save a little nose weight. Several people use them as handlaunchers without gear and say they work great.

michael, I took the gear off mine and it belly lands and hand launches fine.

bryan, I lost bind while in flight today, right over the bathrooms at the park.
never had that happen before.
f-18 nose destroyed up to the canapy, elevator left side cracked, wing broke clean off.
I guess edfs dont glide too well without some power.
had my ar6000 receiver in it and had no problems in almost a year up to this. maybe something from the airport?
repairs underway, but its going to look rough, scott.

Scott... That sucks and is weird.. I have never lost bind with my DX7... heck not even a glitch... I wonder if its the AR600 RX... I only use the AR6100's. The Bathroom area has alway glitched standard RX's... I would contact Horizon about it...on a side note... did you hit LVC? I have heard of a few guys hitting LVC and the RX resets itself... and they were using AR600's...

yeah, I have a dx7 and am using 6100's v1.2 and haven't had a problem yet, but, I get nervous hearing about these things.

no lvc, it was about 45 sec into the flight. this was flight 7 and up untill now I have never had a hint of any kind of glitch, period. this receiver has been in so many planes I have lost count. maybe when you bind the thing 50-60 times it wears them out, lol. anyway its comming out and I am installing a 6100 as the 6000 is the only one I have, its going byebye.
