Remaidened projeti yesterday with arc 28-58-1 and thunder power 30C 5S 3850...

Flew three sorties and man, what a blast...the stainless steel stick mount held up great...

Its definitely flies past 165 mph....Will fly few more runs to get comfortable enough to video it and then put eagletree for more data...

Happy flying !!!

Honestly it feels like this is the fastest setup Ive ever flown. The main issue now is the speed and weight, where the handling is fun and butt-clenching at the same time...

Couple more weekends and I should get the confidence to put in the eagletree gear.

Also I need to run few sorties with this setup (arc 28-58-1, 5S and 4.7 X 4.7) to make sure whether throttle control is required or not (read I'm pushing this motor in stages to identify the smoking point ).

Well mine slammed itself into the ground this arvo, total rx shutdown. Not sure why, but esc is totalled due to impact damage so probabaly will never know. 60a esc with 53a @ WOT. Nose broke off (easy repair), motor mount off (easy too) but the thing is the plastic pod is shattered. I'll try the shop I got it from, but may have to get 1 via Germany, bummer.

At least the carbon A frame I put in kept the wing in 1 piece. Gotta love over-engineering...LOL

Plywood and epoxy can save the motor mount too..

I remember my second projeti dug hole in the ground at WOT...

Only part was intact was my motor mount...

I won't go crazy on 3 mph extra speed because I think 3 mph more speed is just a chance of hit and miss. I might get 161 mph next time

The Setup
Mega 16/15/3
APC 4.5 X 4.1
5S TP 2200 extreme
Esc timing set to standard.
