The paintjob looks great! I just got back from flying mine, it was pretty cold and my batteries showed it. Is that paint scheme one being offered or is a custom job from CARF? I might try my Neu setup on 11S as the 10S is getting a little boring speed wise. Or go back to the Lehner 2250 setup as it has a little more top end at the cost of about +/-30 sec of flight time.

Neil,
That looks great! I think Dave Wilshere mentioned something to me about the Patrouille Swiss color scheme. Does it have the cross on the bottom too or is it solid red?
It will be very visable in the air.

Do you land with the brakes partly on?

Gordon.
Thanks for the link Gordon. I do not have brakes either. I take off from the paved runway and land on the grass runway (I landed on the paved runway once).

I hope to be at Classic jets, but I'm not sure my Spark will have flown by then. I could bring my Savex L-39 and HT-Modellbau Vampire though...

The underneath is red with a white cross in the centre of the wing. Wouldn't it be cunning if they were only withholding this scheme from standard spec to enable a premium for a colour scheme thats probably easier to apply in any case.

Hey Neil if I can ask about how much more did they hit you up for the paint?
if you could take a US Dollar guess?
was it a long wait for the custom paint?

wonder if they saved yours on file? I really want that it looks great!

I'm using our mini gear with MPI wheels and our brake system.
Between two Spark I had. It over 120 flights with these gear.
This weeken at Arizona the new Contender Green Spark had about 15 flights.

Ron

Ron,
I had two new contender color scheme ship to me next week. Your name can be on it.
If you want to go fast. But not 200mph. No EDF can break 200mph on level flight yet.
Soon can be done.
You can do 1515 3D motor on 11s 4450mAh or 5000mAh. This set up is pretty fast at sea level. You need 2 x 4s and 1 3s pack to made 11s.
5s and 6s cause nose heavy.
I'm working the more power systems and soon be testest.
Breaking 200mph cost a lot of power to do so. I just try for the fun but not for selling point. It cost too much and less reliable to ESC to pull 108A.

The new contender green Spark was flying with 8s system. It not fast. But it had good performance overall.
Cheap on cost, long flight time and less stress to fan, motor and ESC.

How long is the flight time on the 11s settup?
humm sounds like 10s is easier (what just two 5000 mah 5s packs?
I hate to have three pack to charge for one flight...
I guess I could parallel charge the two 4s packs as a 8s..right?

lets put it this way .. which settup do you recommend for good flight time and speed..
your video with the 11s looks crazy fast.. I watch it a few times a week

I'd like to get a custom paint job.. the same as neils (the red and white swiss scheme)

do I order that threw you or is there a Rep around?

I'll need your fan, cockpit and wheels and brakes
but will wait till the plane shows up

Yup... -Hey. I can judge a Spark @ 200mph from 170mph just by eyeball............yea right.

That Spark was going just fine at AZ Jet.
Why worry about "Whoa---200---Booga Booga". Oh Yea, you want to be just like the F-4 that took a dirtnap at 200+..........
