F22 Epp/Depron Parkjet - with plans

This is my Epp F22 park jet. The plans were done by Firetrappe from some ideas and dimensions by Kosh on a Wattflyer forum thread

The motor is a EMAX CF2805, 18A ESC, 2X 7.5G servo, MZK penta rx and a 800Ma 2s battery
10mm EPP all round. Double thickness fuse with 3mm CF tube full lengh stiffener. Here a video of the original depron plane mine is based on.

Foamy Contact Combat (6 min 0 sec)

Please note
The plans shows the slot size for an 8" prop, this is intended as a maximium. The recommended sizes of prop are 6 to 7in resize the width of the slot to match prop size and move the skids in accordingly

See post 615 for 32" WS tiled plans provided by Bill Segraves
" 751 " 16.5 " " "
24" WS Single sheet plan also provided by Bill Segraves

add Printed Art files provided by Dickeroo

Tiled with Scale and Tile 2 thanks to Bill Segraves

With lots of help from Leadfeather.

24" Ws Tiled plan added...Thanks Firetrappe.

A great build video by Fangar
F-22 Raptor Build Video (24 min 0 sec)

Some the 32"WS scale and Tile plans have gone missing... see Bill Segrave's comment below and follow the link if the tile version of your choice does not appear here.
It seems the ScaleAndTile-tiled versions of the plans are no longer present on page 1. If you could edit the test appropriately, providing a link to the ScaleAndTile(2) tiled versions

https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...&postcount=615

it would be easier for people who wish to use them to find them.

Best regards,
Bill Segraves

Thanks Fangar for the additional help.... 4 Part build videos on post #2837

Thanks for your comments everybody, the F22 has span of 22" and could therefore fit the plane in a box contest. The carbon could easy be replaced with bamboo so even gpw could be accommodated....
If any one want a tiled plan..
COG is 16" from the nose. 6x4 Apc prop.
Motor is as used in the Hyper flea

Dekan,

Any chance of getting a picture or description of how you mounted the motor? I've got some EPP and a 2805 sitting here looking for a plane.

Thanks.

Hi Ron, Heres some pics of the motor mount I hope this helps. The circular black mark under the mount is a 3mm CF tube which runs the full length of the fus to stiffen it

The picture showing the underside will help with side thrust detail (1 degree Right)

CG is 16" from the nose,or about an 1" in front of the motor mount. The is no best postition... The position chosen on my plane gives a good glide with good aerobatics and inverted flight
