I just started building my windrider fox. I'm looking for a medium weight, 23-ish ounces build and would like to buy some carbon ribbon material for strengthening the wings. What size carbon ribbon are you guys using for a trailing edge/drag spar as well as the ones buried into the wing? I used ribbon before in a predator bee and bat build but I don't remember what size that was. I'd like to do the same as I did with the bat, which is get thick enough ribbon for a trailing edge and then use the same stuff only cut in half lengthwise for a over/under setup in the wing. What size should I get and where's a good place to get some?

Firs flight was great.. It flyes great.. Final weight is 466g. Here are some pictures..

I got my order on Saturday. I ordered the 3 pack with 1600mAh batteries. I was only disapointed that the batteries are flat packs not square packs. I guess I'll just have to make sure I get a thin reciever so I don't have to cut up the fuse much. I just need a reciever and lead extensions to get one in the air. I love that it breaks down so easily so I won't have much trouble taking it on the motorcycle

Are you just hand launch it on the ground?
I don't see you fly it on the slope...

A secret about Fox, the EPS version can fly even better in low wind (no wind) condition.

Hi Ming..

I started it from the small hill, so it was only 20 sec. in air with one launch.. (you can see on the first picture)

I try it also from the hand, and I love it.. It just doesnt wont to go down.

I'm thinking about the hook for high-start, so I'll be able to fly it at home on the back jard. We will see about that. Has anyone try it?

Easy is just a rudder plane not good for flying powered stuff for 6 years.
Easy Pro is aileron like Fox.
