Hi Ming, I'm not very clear what you are talking about there? What are the 1 cm x 1 cm things? Magnets?

Yes, there were four strong magnets in my kit, apart from the ones for the canopy. Wondered what they were for. Brillant idea!
But you're right Del, even without the magnets I don't worry about the wings coming off in flight.

Yes Ming the global economy is a big worry for everyone at the moment. Unfortunately we may have to cut down on our luxuries and RC expenditure in the future

Other than RC plane business, I hope every RC sloper can pass this economy ice age.

Thanks for the wishes, Ming ! It is so important to keep a positive outlook, as all economic downturns are largely fuelled by negative sentiment (i.e. emotions), stoked on by the media who just LOVE bad news... . This period WILL have an end!

More Time to Fly

The economic situation has made it hard for me to find a job. So, I have been spending my days flying my Fox. My wings seem to be secure

Look on the bright side. Now I can buy shares AND planes for the same money the shares alone cost a month ago.

On the right side, now I can buy some US shares.
I guess the return could be better than one new plane project.

CG location

I just finished mine. The plane arrived yesterday, so stayed home all weekend, working on my EPP Fox. I used flexible cable for rudder, placing the servo next to the elevator servo. It looks like I need to add some significant amount of lead in the tail to reach "2 inches from LE at root." CG location. Has anyone flown theirs at different CG location. Recommendations?

Thanks! I used to have a 2 m Gerasis? Fox and its CG was just 5 mm back from LE at root. Any further back and she was virtually uncontrollable. Thats why I asked. 1.5". I think thats just about where mine is now.
