I think Gorilla glue is polyurethane glue, and I was very surprised that PU didn't stick properly. UHU POR I have'n tried, but for motor mount it is anyhow no good (it's a contact glue, and not possible to adjust after surfaces touch).

Uhu Por can also be used 'wet' and then allowed to dry like a regular type glue.

Goop doesn't seem to be easy to get in the UK either. I've looked before, and looked again today but no luck, apart from a very small tube as part of a set of samples of different glues, or somewhere that claims to sell it but is out of stock.

How about UHU POR?
On Molded surfaces i use one of those prick wheel things to run back and forth and use fast cure gorilla with very good results.

Ming,
Is there an easy way to tell the type of foam my fox is?
I think I ordered EPP but looking at the plane I am not sure.

Thanks,

nut

If you order EPP I ship you EPP.
If you order EPO I ship you EPO.

erkki,

Gorilla glue is a PU glue, yes, but a lot more foaming than the PU wood glues. I often use UHU POR wet, as Ben D Wing said, though I've never tried it for something as big as that.

olmod,

The prick wheel thing sounds like a good idea. I don't know where I'd get one though.

Ming, I watched all FOX related videos and there is not a single one of real FPV. I remember one old post here, someone , I think Demon wanted to fly this birth as FPV on slope, I guess he changed his mind and never did so I assume no one else did. The plane is bit too fast for that but once you are airborne speed is not an problem, only landing is tricky. Mine will be heavy, I will cover the EPP with GOOP and 1oz Fiberglass cloth , plus 2836 outrunner 3000mah 3S batery and all video gear will end up around 50oz for sure. It will be one hot plane to fly

Good Times
Hey Ming

Nice to see you linked my video of my test flight at portland westcliff and take 2 on your website Both FPV for those that wanted to see ,
The fox is an excellent plane for the mini cams to go onto , i am cutting out a location into the fuse for the camera to go in , so not to cause too much dragg .
