We have had no issues with lifting, but on heavier planes it does get torn up on rough landing areas. It is easy to punch holes in, and gets worse on a hot day. But we just patch with some more.

Be warned that some of the metallic vinyl will actually cause radio issues. We do not recommend to put it over your receiver antennas. This is not the case for all of the metallic colors.

Color choices are pretty good too. More then Monocote, that is for sure.

Well that's great news. I know of at least 3 shops within 10 miles of my house.

I've read several times in this thread about a desire to lengthen ailerons. Has anyone done it?

It looks like a good choice for a 3s lipo, guyst. I'd say at least an 1800mAh 20C if you're going for the 10x6.

If you want to climb quickly then glide, the 10x6 is probably a good choice. If you want to use a smaller lipo, or want to fly under power more, you'd be better off with a 9x5 or 9x6.

A 9x6 would be faster than the 10x6 (lower loading on the motor means it spins faster) and it would use less current. A 9x5 might be about the same speed as the 10x6, but would use even less current, so it would be a better match to a 1300mAh 3s 20C lipo.

I'm sure you'll get a much more meaningful debate on power stuff in forums other than the slope forum.

So I think I will go for the 9x6 as I want the higher speed

You are right, but I could not find such a good thread for the Windrider Fox.

Very cool.
We have not yet aero-towed our Foxes.. but I think our tow plane might be a little overpowered after seeing that.

Here is my tug we are going to use.
