Source for fiberglass cowls?

Can anyone recommend a vendor for fiberglass cowls? I need a cowl for the 60 Nieuport 17 I have under construction. I could make one out of wood, but I would prefer fiberglass.

Any suggestions or links would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Paul

If it was me, I'd make a fiberglass one, but give these folks a try otherwise:

Paul have you tried the lost foam idea?? Make your cowl from a foam plug then cover it in glass fiber matteing then use aceton(i think) to disolve the foam or any or chemical that will eat foam i aslo have to produce a cowel for a project i'm building. But paul from what i see you build how hard can it be to make a balsa one?Now the final question is going to be a flyer or another HANGER QUEEN???? If you want you can send me a e-mail.stefanP

Thumbs thanks for the link.

I just might try the fiberglass over foam method, I already have all the glassing materials on hand. This is a simple cowl shape, and I thought it would be a lot less messy to order one.

As for the Hanger Queen comment Stefan, exactly which of my planes are you referring too. Almost all of my planes are flown regularly, and my new Nieuport will be no exception.
