H-29 Pushprop Jet ... plans and build log

Vacations are over, back to work again...
So here is my latest project. For long time I wanted to have a neat, little "classic" Mig-29/F-18 like fighter.

I wanted full fuse while keeping things still as simple as possible: Straight lines, flat airfoil, simple taileron setup.
I based it upon the Harpy-Cat design because it worked so well - plus it gives great TV response on the elevator for funny maneuvers

Here are some concept pics....

First let me say that I REALLY like what I see and I am looking forward to plans. But, I have a couple of questions. Does the motor in front of the control surfaces fly differently than a regular pusher? Is the noise generated by this configuration about the same as rear mounted?

T42, thanks!
yes, it does fly differently. since the control surfaces are in the slip stream of the prop they can generate great forces even at zero flying speed, which allows you to make some cool maneuvers.
I would say that the sound/noise is comparable to a rear mounted prop. the most noise comes from the disturbed airflow that goes past the fuselage. so they are both a bit noisier than a tractor prop - especially during high AoA maneuvers.
