1107H & 19XXH motor production starts!

The long drought for 1107H motors is over! We now have motor cases for the H versions and the 19XX series motors. The first motors will be shipping to dealers next week.

You need to contact the dealers to place orders.

Not possible--too many mechanical differences.

Are 1107H/1.5Y's really available?

Steve,
Just wondering, the thread states that the drought for these is over yet I'm waiting over 5 weeks for one from Atlanta Hobby? Are they really available?

I love my 4S setup. I get 9+ minutes of flight, huge power, and it's very nimble, even at my slightly conservative just-less-than 3000 headspeed.

On 3S, I was down around 7 minutes. In fact, I'm thinking of selling my 3S motors and packs off, as I can't really see a situation where I'd want to go back...

EDIT: You might want to hit the "Email me when Back-in-Stock" button, so they have some indication of demand. When I got that notification, I ordered mine, but they were out in a day. It surprises me they don't stock up and order more.

Your running your 1107H/1.5Y on 4S? Wow.. That thing must rip. I thought that the 1.5's were too high rpm for 4S..

Do you have any other flight data for the 3S setup such as current draw and so on? I'm running my totally worn out Align 430xl on TP2200 3S extremes and can only get 5 min with a 15amp constant draw and a 2750 head speed.

I'd be interested in your numbers.

BTW - I miss The Tick.. It was some of the finest contemporary American literature in my opinion.

Nono. It's the 2Y on my 4S, but it still does rip! I should get my signature over here reflective of this info.

I have the 1.5Y, but it's among the things I'm considering selling. My brother has first refusal on it, though.

Yeah, I'm glad someone recognizes The Tick. The cartoon, IMHO, was a pinnacle for the character, too. Hooray for DVD!

John

EDIT: Well, I guess RCG doesn't do signatures. Sigh...

A man with too many toys
Steve, what’s up with 1912H production? I need another one but everyone says they are waiting for the next production run.

No problems here--it is the distributor and dealers only seem to order after they have a customer's order in hand. I keep trying to get some idea of what they think is going to be popular but I get no feed back. We build as the orders arrive. There are no shortages for the 19 series motors.
