Walkera 4#3

anyone seen this?

http://www.walkera.com/en1/particul...?pn=Z24%2330104
(45gr stock!)
As I see it has the same servos as the HM 5#6 they should be
replaced immediatly (these are the sh***iest servos i'v ever
encountered).

BTW, When I called PrecisionHeli about 6 month ago, they said
they are working on a 3.7v version that would not use
the bluearrow 4-in-1.
since they are using the walkera 4-in-1 CX version I think we
will soon get a 3.7v Micron V2...

only question is... do i also get this tiny toy... do i strat stocking with
replacements for two helis (micron)...
based on the walkera 5#6 spare parts would be chaper then PH parts

Yes, I ordered one from here, but they will not have stock until end of September.

Are you saying the Micron CX hse the Walkera 4-in-1 from the 5#6? I thought they use the BlueArrow 4-in-1. I would have thought that is better because you can use your own Tx.

The CX has two versions, first one was
7v and used 3-in-1 + RX from bluearrow, then they
moved to the 4-in-1 CX unit from bluearrow. now they
have a second version that uses single cell 3.7v and the
walkera 4-in-1

Why switch to Walkera electronics? Seems like a step back wards to me.

The walkera 4-in-1 has a more responsive gyro....I had a micron cx and with the blue arrow 4-in-1 it flew like a wizard of oz flying monkey on acid..The gyro on the blue arrow seemed to not be designed for a cx heli...If walkera would only fix the trimmer pot in the #5-6 servo it would work fine....You can't expect such a small low voltage servo to be highly responsive when there is so much current draw...

Does the Walkera 4-in-1 work with any Tx other than a Walkera?

I don't think it will work with anything but walkera radio.

dunno... I really like the bluearrow 3-in-1. It does a good job
for my micron v2. too bad bluearrow are taking them out of
production

with the hm 5#6 i am having sever range problems (about 2 meters !)

tried to order a new rx for it, but the one that came from PH
doesnt work (it looks like it doesnt recognize the crystal)

So are PH going to bundle their CX with a Walkera Tx and a 4-in-1? I must say I'm really pleased with the way my 5#6 flies. I had to adjust the little pot in the 4-in-1 but now the gyro does a great job... climbouts, piro stops, everything is spot on. I've not really tested the range. My house is not that big.

If only Spektrum would develop a micro sized 4-in-1
