Kyosho Minium TX Parkzone RX binding problems

Has anyone been able to bind a Kyosho Minium 2.4 Ghz TX to a Parkzone RX??

Does your Parkzone TX LED flash during the binding process?

My Kyosho TX only beeps when I turn it on with throttle up (or down). But NO binding.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Depress the throttle stick - push it like a tall button - and then turn it on. That puts it into bind mode. I did that and bound a new RX to my TX...

Anyone know what pushing down on the right gimbal (stick) is supposed to do (besides flash from the LED and a beep)?

aha !! the right stick on the Blade MCX I just got (micro blade heli) switches into dual-rate mode when you do this, so the Minium TX was probably designed to do the same thing, except it appears that the firmware does not respond to the switch push (even though the led blinks and all). Same thing with the mode switch ... no firmware response here either. Haven't tested for servo reverse but this also seems doubtful.

Does anybody have a mod to increase the output power of the Minium transmitter ? Member 'Rhondaward' suggested that he had some circuitry, but I haven't seen any posts from him in a long time.

more info on binding parkzone cessna 210

after following the parkzone instructions and the posts here and still no binding, i tried a number of different combinations based on the above information.
i finally discovered the trick to binding the parkzone tx to another rx.
the following steps detail the process.

one, press the throttle stick down into the transmitter. there will be a ckick
when the stick is in the bind position.

two, power up the tx while still holding the throttle stick down.

three, power up the rx while still holding the throttle stick down.

four, release the throttle stick, there should be a click.

five, move the right stick in all directions, while watching the servos
on the receiver board.

with luck you will see the servos moving in unison with the stick movement
hope this helps and good luck.

God speed.
