A dream job, eh? Do they carry Align products? Is there anyone there who knows how to build and set them up?

Believe me you will think of a better way! I just used a piece of lego (melted one side for boom to sit it) and zip ties. Oh and gobs of hot glue... Only designed to last a week or two since my Compy FP belt drive kit is coming Monday or so

Yup! I flew my nitro Raptor today!

Hi guys, I flew my Raptor 30V2 with the tt.39 engine and all I can say is WOW!! WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I have been flying that Blade-400 for the last 6 months and today getting that Raptor in the air, wow, that thing is SO stable I just can't believe it! It's like being a kid and having to eat your most hated vegatible and then getting to eat your favorite candy!! I am going to have to fly this Rappy more often. I flew 5 tanks though it today and due to my inexperiance with heli engines, had some questions about tuning it but I think maybe I am just being overly cautious. I made some friends in the nitro heli crowd and they have been nagging me to get out my Rappy so today I finally did and now I am wondering why I didn't do it sooner! I can, however see myself getting bored with the tt.39 and wanting to upgrade to the Redline.53 Well I am going to bed so I can fly tomorrow before the wife wakes up!

How long can these nitros fly on a tank? Must be nice to not have to charge batteries!

Flew the Trex 450SA this morning. After learning to flip the HBK2 a couple times this week, did my first flip with the Trex. Unlike the HBK2, the tail held well. It got too windy soon afterward so I only got to fly one pack though the Trex.

I think about the same amount of time depending on tank size. 6-7 minutes. No worries about lipos though. Just the nitro hassle.

Can you double the tank size? Or does that affect the weight too much... (I haven't a clue how fuel efficient these engines are!)

Glow helis can usually fly 15-20 minutes on a tank or more. I don't think I want to fly that long, though.

And what a big hassle that is! Most nitro people won't tale you what a pain in the neck you are in for.
