A few sprinkles today, but I flew my copterxFBL 450 for the first time, burned the air lol! with the 450pro and got the kinks out of my 500. So it was a good day.

Now i know it pitches up loads in hard foward flight i can learn from this & in theory next time (probs wednesday) it should be a success.

Ripmax Sabre (Wlalkera #4) first field flight gone bad (0 min 18 sec)

Annoyingly a couple were walking behind me watching when this happened, I had my logo on the ground aswell so they must have though i've got no chance if i can't fly the sabre LOL.

I think you can gauge the cost of a crash by the sound - and for me the Sabre just made a fairly low-cost splat.

Not much in the way of flying weather in the UK right now though....

Hey, you were wrong...it actually made a ZERO cost splat Unfortunately the cyclic servo had kind of moved & i lost right cyclic after that so it would just go left sideways. The head broke at home yesterday when i was switching the channels on the TX (whilst the motor was still pluged in) & it went full power, flew across the garden & hit the deck.

And now it's been peeing down & high winds for too long now & it's here all this week to

2doggs are you over here right now then??

Yes, I'm in windy and wet Somerset at the mo, with one and a half 450's to play with and an old MT restored to the ACE RC beginner spec.

I flew today, i flew the Logo (well what else in these conditions) in a break in the rain but it was too windy to have some fun.

So how come your 2hrs away from me then? post a pic of the MT, you don't see un molested heli's any more

It was actually flyable here today, but work prevailed! Though I live in the US, I work mostly in the UK. One of the companies I work for has some stuff in the Olympics, so I've become embroiled in that. What an absolute mare it is too, with bureaucracy gone mad!

I'll try to take some pics of the MT to post here.

Hey the weather is fantastic right now. I was going to go out with my Logo but i'm going to go to bed in a moment instead, I'm too tired to fly, bloody early mornings!! Bloody olympics, what a waste of our money. I did try my Sabre in the garden but for some reason my lipo has no power?? doesn't make sence.

I flew my mcpx some today but what I'm gloating about is I just flew my 39' hi-po flat foamy about a half dozen times with only the light of the 'super moon' at my back. It was a challenge and I almost lost it a few times if I went out more than 150 ft or so but all in all it was great. I'd done it back during the 92 or 93 supermoon with an Eaglet 50 also. Not as thrilling as today because that plane was rather boring. Yet tonight I did my whole sportsman pattern in tight no problem.

I had everything charged and ready to go. Just waiting for my wife to get home from shopping to watch the kids. She got back late and depressed because she couldn't find a nice dress and no one had any shoes in her size and she has no friends to help her shop and so on and so on.

But I am the man!! so I slowly went out to the truck and unloaded.
