Right NOW at this very minute if the sky & air (the flying air space) was water it would be mill pond. It is just totally 100% dead calm outside this evening, & what have i chose to do??? Sit down at the computer with a large bacardi breezer (watermelon) Yep alcohol has won over 6 lipo's through 2 Trex's Well i was ill yesterday & i feel tired & just want to chill

Hey Flying an rc heli isn't the be & end all is it? Well i suppose it is actually

is it 'be &' or 'be or' ??? I've never in my life used that expression so i'm not sure

I agree paddy, for some reason I haven't wanted to fly the last few days. (perhaps it's them dark clouds above that just put me off flying anything, even with the little wind).

Lipos don't seem to last long, I save them for the nice sunny days .

I rushed out after work to get some packs in before the rain.. It was great, a slight breeze, warm and no hint of rain

I had 5 packs on my Trex and 2 on my planes..... I managed a few backward circuits too.... I'm spending more time inverted too, I know it will end in tears soon!

Mike, you're really good inverted, couldn't believe you said that .

When you're spending more time cutting the grass and sideways to the ground then you're asking for it .

Woke up early and put in two quick flights at the field. I'm loving my new G-Lock gyro. The tail simply won't fold over. I was having a good time with fast backwards circuits and funnels. I noticed that the tail wasn't struggling and it felt like it was cutting through the wind doing steep funnels. My inverted flights were uneventful too. Good gyro. However my year old lipos are nearing the end of their lives. This made low inverted hovers scarier than they should be. I had little room for mismanaging collective. Oh well extra kicks But boy, what a great way to start my Saturday.

Got the 450 SE repaired, the head set up, kind of, and hovered it for the first time in months. Pretty smooth but my head set up ain't the best (yet).

Way too windy to fly the Trex 450 today, so I flew my GloStik night flyer (fixed wing) after dark at the local park. Just had to burn through one pack to scratch the itch while waiting for a less windy day to fly the helis.

I flew today.. a record 10 packs!... thats 90 minutes of actual air time at 9 mins per pack! (Compy FP belt drive)... and also squeezed in one 2 minute test flight for my newly repaired Blade 400... it works! Got to get that back in the air soon.

What a perfect day... zero winds... 80 degrees... no bugs...

No summer in 2 years for the UK. Summer here does not exist anymore & we all know it. Stay away from the UK if your into RC Aircraft coz you just wont fly them.

I got 3 packs in last night. It was a beautiful night in Columbus, middle 70's and light winds with partly cloudy skies.
