I tried to fly a pack but man its been so hot here i flew 4 times just flying for a few minutes and then stop to let it cool down. This one im flying needs somthing changed.

When i went out side going from 72 inside temp to 95 outside my radio had condensation building on the face of it. It was really humid here today.

I got this one flying really good other then the motor boiling after a few minutes.

Mike

But your inverted fig8's are nice The weather is Gash down here at the minute.. rain & wind & it's that rain thats fine drizzle & spitting that stops & then starts as soon as you spool up then stops when you pack up again

Same here. I haven't seen the sun in a week. All I could do was squeeze some slow circuits in the yard. If i could flip low then I could practice inverted circuits here. But I am not up to it yet. I do that at the field.

Lost tail (death spin!) in some hard sport flying with my Falcon 3D (non powered tail!) so I hit throttle hold and autoed her down!!!!

PLOMP (loud!!!) Landed on skids but she then tipped over. Walking up to expect the worst...

NO DAMAGE!!!!!!! None at all, checked servos (cheap nylon and all fine) blades unharmed! This was about 2-3 houses high .

I think the crappy stock Art-tech gyro crapped out on me. It does make it hard to fly, I should just buy a decent one like the Logictech and be done with it .

Hahahha, so pleased! If I was inverted with my Dragonus I wouldn't have been so lucky!!!

Perhaps it was the gorilla gear that saved me from much damage, if so they are worth every penny!

Yup, I'd rather crash high with a dead rotor than low with full rotor speed. Good day for you. Well...considering.

I can't remember if I added a little bit of negative pitch, I think I did, I was just working on trying to get her level and bleeding off all the headspeed.

I could actually watch the blades turn around!

Sim time paid off once again!

I'm going to keep the gyro on for now, and this time I'm going to work loads in the workshop on the tail, not sure what's going on but going to investigate!

The same HS-65MG was on the tail of my Dragonus and it held perfect. It's all loose, low gain and like rate mode almost on the Falcon.

Just got my SA back in the air. It looks kinda funny with White landing gear on the front and yellow on the back. Just glad I saved the unbroken one.

Yea I felt kinda bad on earth day so I took some used motor oil and gave it back to the earth by pouring it down a sewer drain. Just joking.

I had some nice flights on my hbfp yesterday. Practiced some backwards flying and made a few attempts at funnels. I only tried tail down but would it be easier to start with nose down? I can start the funnel well but I'm having a hard time stopping it from going into FF or just going too far out.

Anyways when I was doing some backwards circuits a linkage fell off in flight so now I am grounded So today I got tons of sim practice in and started learning inverted hovering
