Charge leads with Hitec CG-340 and other stuff

I'll probably be buying one of these soon and powering it using a PC power supply. Anybody doing this successfully?

I was just curious if it came with any leads and what output connectors does the charger have. Would it be easy to make charger leads or does the Hitec have some special proprietary output connectors?

Sorry about all the questions but I'll be buying from another country so any advice is appreciated...

The charging leads that are sold with the unit are just alligator clips. I power mine using a 12v deep cycle marine battery and haven't had any problems with it. For the money, it's a nice little charger. The only quirk about it is after completely charging a nicad pack, you have to flip the nicad/nimh selector switch between the two to reset it prior to charging a second pack. Good luck.

The CG340 does not come with any specialized charge leads. They don't know which one you want to use, and to include 'em all would be quite expensive.

The output connections on the charger are standard "banana" plugs. You need to solder up a set of charge leads for whatever type of lead you're using.
