This is my F22 Cororaptor. Instead of depron..I choose coroplast as my building material. It's twice the weight from depron F22. Mine AUW is ~20oz.

Power plant setup APEX 2500kv with 5' prop, ESC 30A, Lipo 2200 3s1p 20C lipo. tested on the ground with just half throttle it can hover.

Will maiden this friday.

Is it enough with just elevon setup for this F22?

Opinions differ. Shadegrown's model with only tailerons flies fine:

Profile F-22 with simple thrust vectoring (4 min 50 sec)

Tailerons only -setup provides good control even in low speeds, but if you want faster roll rate, you may want to add the ailerons as well. Some say that rudders help in high alpha maneuvering, but I have no problems controlling the plane in high AOA flight with tailerons only. Inverted flight high alpha is also possible!

That's correct. There is a link from post #1 to the F-22 page on my site, where plans in different formats can be downloaded.

oh, i remember you had PDF attachments under the pics, sorry, my bad, i thought you removed them because companies are selling those kits

I just maidened my plane for the first time! I put in a little up trim on lauch so I would not have to worry about the ground right off and the plane lifted into a very slow harrier and hung there until I got all settled and started trimming it out. A fella stopped his pickup and walked up to me while I was getting this bird trimmed and just started talking a mile a minute. A bit distracting but managed to talk and fly at the same time.

The plane looks great in the air and does things just like the real bird. Pull into high alpha and float around. Then just drop the nose and she starts accerllerating on her own. My build is very heavy (15.6 oz AUW) as I used hot glue for eveything including the spar. Only issue was that top speed was dissapointing. I went home and changed the 25 amp Speed Controler to the 30 amp that came with the Grayson Parkjet combo. Second flight she had very good vertical performance. As this is my very first flat foam build I did not know what to expect. I am very happy. Thanks Tomhe!!!

I know this may have been mentioned some where before, but what is actually supposed to be the approximate angle, from the wing to the rudder? I have read the build doc about just "following the angle of the intakes" but since I've played with the tabs and have trimmed them a bit, I just want to make sure I've got them set up right. Using a protractor, and lining mine up with the intakes, the angle right now comes out to about 70 degrees....thanks in advance....

I've never measured mine. I just use the TLAR method.

I haven't measured the angle, but you can measure from this picture.
