Check valve for uniflow fuel system?
I am wanting to try the uniflow fuel system. However I don't have a check valve to use and the closest hobby shop is 75 miles away. Don't really want to pay $4 s&h for one item either.
Would a one way check valve for an aquarium work? I have one of those sitting around.
Yes, most times they will work just fine. Just keep an eye on any plastic parts that may melt or the o-rings. I will be surprised if you have a problem.
If only the o-rings melt, you can find other o-rings locally that will not melt.
Let us know how you fare. I've been using aquarium plumbing parts on various models for years. I particularly like the brass tee fittings. Good luck.
