Great Scott this thing is NICE! I liked it so much I ordered the 83" just 5 mins after looking at this one!

I'll be doing the Electric version on both. I have a 4130/16 and some M1 cells (A123's) just waiting....

I'll put up a build log on my blog as I get started...

Hope this helps with your layout and setup...

All the best,

Steve,

These are the connectors I was talking about:

Look up inside where it's connected to the servo...

I won't trust these as far as I could throw them !

I know a few people who have lost planes to them...

Go with these:

Ahhh...now I understand! I use the dubro version in my parkflyers because it is so hard to adjust those tiny couplers (when they have them) I just use CA or thread lock to keep them from backing out. I'll have to give these the "chuck" though. They're not needed on a model this size.

Thanks!

Steve

So, with a Hyperion 4020-14 on an alloy mount, and a 5s 3700 stuck through a great big hole in the firewall, it balances... and that should be plenty of motor.

So, just a few more details and it should be ready to go.

HA HA! Sam, Sam, Sam.....As much as I would like to start tonight on the Cessna I have a couple of planes ahead of it.

After I putter around and get the Miss 2 airborne, I MAY bump it up since it is such a nice bird. I do want to see what Andrew's Hyperion setup will do before I mount my 4130 up in there - just to see what the difference is. I have actually started building the lighting system for it though

Say - did you shoot any video of the flights yet, I'd love to see a takeoff!

Very nice pics, I noticed you put leds at the front of the cowl, do you have pictures of the detail, did you also put lights at the wing tips?
