Batterys from Polaroid film packs?

I came across a dozen or so batterys I had hacked out of the 10 shot film packs that you use in the cheap polaroid cameras. They have been in a drawer for over ten years and still have a good charge , about 5.5volts They are a little larger that a business card and about 1/8 to 3/16" thick.

Does anyone know what they are? I thought I 'd check befor I blow one or two up trying to recharge them, I'm not looking for a safety lecture here ,mind you, and I will post photos if I get a good yeald

I have used them in 2 free flight planes, some of my son's toys, & a few misc projects.
The 1st planes is lost - kept climbing MUCH longer than I guessed. At least it was cheap.

They are a slight pain to connect to.
