I got this today at a swap meet. I'd like more info on it... center of grav point, control suface recommended throw amount. Recommended motor/battery configuration etc.

This one has two cobalt motors.

never mind, Cermark sent me full instructions! (free) great company. Awesome plane, I just installed the servo's - need a speed control and 14 cell pack and she should be about ready to fly.

Did you get that at "swap meet price" too? What kind of swap meet you have over MI that sells rc model planes? I can only find old clothes, fake jeweleries, etc. for swap meets out here.

RC swap meet. 3.00 to get in and lots of stuff to buy. I ended up with 6 planes in about an hour. Swap meet price? I dunno - seemed okay... was 250.00 w two/Astro 15's (new) 2 full size servos (I think S148's in the wings) motors wired in and connectors for speed control. I just installed two S148's inside for tail and nose gear. Looking for a ESC and battery pack for it now.

Where does it all end?
I have one that I may consider selling, not sure about shipping as it is fairly large. Has Astro 05 G's 12x8 MAS-E wood props, Jeti 60 Amp Controller, all hitec servos, JR PCM receiver and 18 cell 2000 pack. Flies like it is on rails. Entire outfit may have 10 flights on it. Make resonable offer.

Do you run a seperate battery for your radio in the Islander Jeff? I have that ESC (and it doesn't have a BEC) and wondered if that will work okay. I have two ASTRO-15's in mine. Is that many cells really necessary? what flight times do you achieve?

thanks
I had considered selling mine for a day or two, but after putting in the servos and putting it on display - I just can't. I have to fly it.

Yes I run a separate battery for the receiver. I get about 10 minute flights on it. 18 cells is slight overkill, but flies the snot out of it.
