Very nice airplane Jim!!!

I can’t wait to see her on floats.

My only objection is all the light passing through the fuselage which makes it look different than a full size plane.

You can fix this with some black cardboard, like I did with my Twin Otter.

This however, is much easier done before covering.

The Rapide has made to the water. I'm having some motor problems that I have to resolve before I can get some air time, though

Well, it all looks very 'right' so I hope you can get your motor problems sorted soon. A video against that wonderful backdrop should be quite something!

Good job Patrick. Your color scheme looks terrific. Two+ years from start to finish isn't too bad, not by any means unusual in these parts, though most people spend most of those two years building rather than looking at a completed model on the shelf! But even that is not entirely unheard of.

Ha, exactly. My problem is that I can do building in small increments, but escaping for a few hours to the flying field is a tougher proposition. The maiden was my first outing this year in fact!

Very nice rendition of the twotter, Patrick, and it looks to be a very nice flying site, also.
