Hey Mark,

Good move supplying the F16's, should be another easy to build easy to fly jet.

With the flyfly Mirage you will be up against the ebay sellers http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Giant-Electri...QQcmdZViewItem (just a heads up).

I have another idea how about one of these Lynx Jets http://www.hobby-lobby.com/lynx.htm I am currently building one with your 64mm fan setup with 3S for starters should be ready next weekend. I used a wax coated paper cup for the exhaust and the FSA works out to be about 90% as suggested by AIRX.

Might get you too look it over before the maiden

Yeah i think the F-16 would be a treat. No one else at my club has one. They would all be pretty jealous lol

The lynx jet looks good also. But im sure it could be made from foam.

The Ebay Mirage is likely to be short lived, factory is working on having dealers and not sending out samples to non businesses so we will see. These are serious models and require careful setup, plus the factory motor package is not usable, all the reports in the main forum is the motor burns out very quickly.

Maybe you should do a poll of like 4 jets your interested in ordering and find out how many people are interested and make a decision that way.

Finally got round to doing the Mirage build, knocked it together yesterday arvo, fairly simple build, the fiddly parts are dremelling out all the areas needed before the fuse goes together. Worked out nicely!

Same power system as Hawk and Sabre, running EDF64 and 1300 4s1p 25c packs. AUW unpainted was a staggering 441 grams! Totally amazed at how light it is.

The Mirage intake area is quite large, more than adequate for the fan, second and third flights with the cheater hole covered had it flying very smoothly and seemed as quick in the air. Climb is superb, definitely needs paint as its too small to see white on white!

I received all the gear you sent me and i am in the process of modifying the gas Cessna to Electric now…
The Coronas work great.. I tested them today and not one glitch..
I was wondering if you had a order in for more P-38's? I have some left over birthday money and Me think’s, this would look's good, in's Me hanger…

No P38's on the horizon right now, easy enough to get one in with the next GWS order, don't you want to try a Jet though?

ESC in and battery bay set up with foam padding.
I am moving back to jets next year after i get a few prop planes in my hanger that i can enjoy...

Looking good so far, I will get that picture of the Waco mount today, keep forgetting to slip the cowl off and do it. You may have to bolt some lead sheet to the side panel that extends past the engine mount (opposite the ESC) to get your COG right, will be interesting to see how it all comes out.

Pezzer, looks similar to the Classic's we converted. We had to bolt 250gms of lead to the side cowl to get CG right....!!
