I may sell all my hobby stuff and take up this new hobby, err you'll see...

I'm a forty year old; paraplegic for the the last 17 and I've waited for this day...

To relive the sport bike experience without the fear of falling out or off.

I'm so firkin' jazzed I didn't even look at the price tag

Since damaging my spinal cord I poured my adrenaline into electric R/C boat racing with the elites in NA.

Now comes the Carver and i think I just wet myself or lost all control of body functions.

It's almost like I can walk again, sort of

Not yet, but German engineering is pretty pricey most times.

You know, this looks like a good candidate for an electric version.

as mentioned in the comments section of that video the idea isn't new at all. I remember seeing the "Lean Machine" in the car magazines back in the 80's.

You have another, more accessible option:

There's a few vids on YouTube/Google of people haulin' --- by the metric ton on these. Proper sporting, by the looks of them. Engine is the same one that's used in the Aprilia Mille, Falco, and Tuono but detuned a bit for midrange power.

Thanks Dave, I like that too!

MOst likely cheaper also.

I will search out prices and dealers for that but you see the enclosure is nice because if my legs start to have spasms they won't be flying around while driving.

I like its mean looks and I'm sure it would get lots of looks. It may be my next vehicle for work commutes and keep my Grand Prix GT for toting my RC boats around.

We shall see, Canada is slow and overtly conservative when it comes to new vehicle design safety requirements.

Ray,

I think this one may be a bit trick for you Brudeli 625L tilting three wheeler

Or the Tilting Motor Works. WA. USA.

A hybrid or all electric VentureOne

Or I'm sure the guys on the forum could come up with a balsa, depron or EPP one if costs that much a problem

Really cool, seen that one. They also have a reverse trike, but it has foot pedals like a care.

Hopefully they have done their homework on it, we're one of the last markets to recieve it and there's all sorts of electronic stability skullduggery to spoil the fun and keep you from poking an eye out. I like it, but only because it would be cool to be seen on one-you'd pull more tail on that than a thousand beaver traps...

For thrills, I'll stick to my GSXR1000. When I get a little older, we'll see.
