Who's going to Kitchener?

Kitchener? Not far from Toronto!
Just back from San Francisco, but I'll be there too.

From Dan Sinstead:
"Just a quick reminder that the Great Lakes Model Boat Association Model Expo 2007 is fast approaching if you would like to enter or attend. This competition is held every 2 years at the Kitchener City Hall in Kitchener Ontario on June 30-July 1. It is a judged event with categories in kit, semi-kit and scratchbuilt categories in naval, working, pleasure, ships-in-a-bottle, sail, standoff scale, miniature(1/500 etc) and submarines. The last event in 2005 had 117 entrants. There will also be awards for Best of Show, Peoples Choice and Best Example of R/C Animation. On the water operations will be done on the city hall pool with narration for the public and there will be a barbecue Saturday night for the participants and families at a nominal cost.
Kitchener is located about 3 hours from the Detoit/Windsor border crossing, 2 hours from Niagara Falls and 1 hour west of Toronto.
For more information or entry forms please contact glmba@...
Jack Kipfer at (519)884-0960 or Bob Farrant at (905)270-0874.

I think it is very cool that he actually runs them. I could understand how some builders of such magnificent models might be inclined to have them only as shelf queens.

Great photos Pat, I was wondering if you or anybody have plans for the water skiier that is being towed, I just need an idea on weight ratios to keep her upright?? I reckon one would look sensational behind my woody.
