i doubt that my rx had anything to do with the crash, since i have both ailerons into the same channel, and i still had control of the right aileron. the right one just locked down.
( i just got another electron 6! dont scare me like that!)

If you are using a y connector the problem almost has to be the one servo that isn't working. Probably something mechanical like a broken gear tooth. I would think if it was electrical it would knock out the other servo as well while the two are connected together.

My orders usually take 10-12 days. For the price, it's worth the wait.

If you pay for EMS shipping it gets here faster than Horizon will ship my orders.

I've had one go funny on me but that was after it was involved in a crash. I sent it back to Hitec and they repaired it at a minimal charge. Can't really fault them in that situation.

So...that's one vote FOR and one vote AGAINST them. Anyone else want to vote?
If you read a lot about helicopters? Many have trouble when installed . I wouldn't run one.

Dan, what trouble were you having? As with all receivers, POWER is a big issue. When using a separate receiver battery (not a BEC), I've never had any glitches. Some ESC/BECs will wreak havoc on receivers.

I fly helicopters, and if you read on many forums ,, you will come up with many who have crashed running them.
And they are talking about glitches many times.

Agreed! I just placed an order on Thursday 1/8 and received it at my front door on Monday 1/12 via EMS shipping. Very impressive.

Coincidentially my order included 2 of the 1500 kv 24 gram motors for another project.

I always use the EMS shipping. I can order on a Monday and have the parts on my door Thursday or Friday. It's the more expensive shipping option but I usually wait until I need a bunch of stuff so the larger order makes it worth it. Their shipping cart is nice in that it tells you how much more weight you can add to your order for a given shipping option and I make a point to max out my allowable weight

I have added two inches to the nose and moved the wing back a quarter inch.

Tack glued everything together to validate this time before building a whole plane and tada!!!

Of note is that the plans do not print out to scale. That could be part of my problem from last time. I also built it a little on the heavy side compared to the new one.

This one is built to plan scale not actual scale but I only caught this tonight so the booms are the corrected length.

Is that your battery????
It seems very big.
Tip, put your battery on the other side.
It helps to stop torque roll.
PS: I hate to see advertisement when trying to look at your pictures.
You might just use this web sites setup for loading pictures.

So i finaly maidend my funder today.
(a crashflight of 15 seconds don't count as a maiden )
And YES i could keep it flying (sort of) and even after the landing it was still in one piece!
Ok i admit, also bent a motorshaft, but they are soft..

It flies FASSSST, but then again the weight is 440gr or 15.5 oz.
And i guess that's a bit much
Its powered by a Towerpro 2409-12delta, 8x4 prop and a 1250mAh 3cell lipo

Maybe i should built another one, but this time light

Bye Jan Willem
