A 14yr old has a lot of energy and is willing to learn. I get tired just watching all of that energy.

haroldpo6.
Please tell me your not going to do all that work, and not make a full cabin to hide all the electronics ?
It's just so... little work to make a clean bird.

They will be hidden looking down from the top. I like to be able to get to things, easy to change lipos, etc. The enclosed ones I have is a pain to work on. So easy to break the thin hatches. Plus this is the grandsons design, I'm just helping.

Hello this is haroldpo6's grandson, you know the one hese been talkin about. Im kinda new to foamies and planes in general but its fun and i really enjoy flyin with my grandpa. the F&L is by far the best plane i have flown (which is only a couple but still.) im slowly gettin better each time i fly. and cant seem to get enough of it.

Makes me smile! Thanks for the compliment and I hope you enjoy flying it for many years to come! I flew my "Bubba" today with a new neighbor friend I met last week. Let's see if I can talk him into building one.

Please send more picks and video when you can!

Cheers,

S-Chilled,

Congrats on completing your F&L. Let us know how the maiden goes.

The measurements of your wing look kinda funky. Either the aft point of the wing is too long or your wingtips are too short. I'm curious what type of flying you'll experience with those dimensions. It may be nothing to worry about but I'd keep the throttle up.

Good luck & Welcome to the F&L Club!
