JONBOYLEMON & Wind_of_Change,

Thanks. Got it. I don't know why, but I like to keep these things, not just watch them online.

I only just saw that. That was a very short take off! Was it into wind? Have you put wheels on yours? EDIT: Just read that again, properly. Can we see a picture of your landing gear?

The Vimeo thing seems to work well. RCGroups embeds it if you just put the link in url tags (square brackets) e.g.

[ url ]http://vimeo.com/739346[ /url ] (but without the extra spaces).

be careful out there
here ya go.
to those with a sharp eye...yes the gear is too far back and caused nose landings but i've since moved it forward with excellent results .
i decided to reinforce mine with coroplast just cuz i'm a tuff pilot. got the gear free from Hobby Lobby during one of their giveaways. thanks HL! the tail is a steerable type but i just let it swing free back and forth. everything is hot glued. this bird also soars well even with the 2100/3cell and motor mounted.

Thanks for the reply .....

there sure isn't a lot of answers flying around .....

suspect everyone is away with their Eagle ....

If the wind allows I could Maiden Sunday and hence the need for info ....

If you like keeping videos, you'll want this higher resolution version of the EPP Eagle. I figured out how to remove interlacing and reposted it at HD resolution.

If you click on the URL at the top of the video window and go to Vimeo's site, then turn HD on in the right of the picture frame you can stream it in HD. Or you can just download it again and get the HD on your hard drive, which I recommend.

When you post HD video footage, Vimeo makes a low res version for linking inside of windows like this one. You have to go to their web site to get HD.

EPP Eagle RC Plane from Ebay - HD (2 min 59 sec)

EDIT: Fixed the Audio

Thanks, Wind_of_Change.

That file is only slightly bigger, but it does look a bit clearer.... Hmmm, it seems to be a silent movie though, or maybe I just don't have the right codec. Doesn't matter though.

Has anyone bought the pre-painted versions? If so, is the Golden Eagle available as a kit? I only see it as pre-assembled. I see the Snow Eagle as a kit, but not the Golden.

I wouldn't mind paying a bit more for a pre-painted as I have little time for my airbrush these days and both those versions I mentioned above look great!

G'day all,

Just some info: I received and unpainted Eagle kit from Flyparty yesterday and you can tell the difference. The EEP is more ridget and the kit included a CD with all the Eagle Flyparty's Eagle videos and a 53 page pdf instruction manual; additionally, the CD also contained the Pitts instruction manual and two Pitts videos. The kt was $68 USD and $10 for shipping.

IMHO, the Eagle is easy to build, easy to fly, and an excellent performer; thx much to Flyparty.

I'd love to get a copy of that manual. Is it posted anywhere in PDF format?
