Question

EPP Eagle?

Anyone try this EPP bird? For about $68 USD plus shipping it looks interesting.

<original vendor URL removed due to copy issue> RC Raptor - Eagle Looks kinda neat - even better with a shaped fuse.

And if you want to paint it: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...90#post8203490

Please note that a dispute has arisen regarding own owns the design. Source it where you like - this thread is about building and flying ONLY. Argumentative posts will be deleted.

This bird/plane is a great trainer even better than the easystar IMHO. Very stable I have flow it in 15 knot winds with my hands off the sticks for about 100m.

The EPP quality is very good as well. Easy to build, and very easy to fly and can be easily adapted for ailerons.

Some pics.

Cool! I think I will take a shot at it for the price. Would love to paint it up like a bald eagle. Did you mod one at all? WHat did you use for power?

EPP Eagle

Yes, yes,
I'd like to know if you could post some pix from a straight down view, side view of the fuse and any bays.
I have been looking at building the Eddy The Eagle one, but it's a balsa kit.

Thanks

I think for ~$65 USD (incl. shipping) I will take a shot at it. A nice BL motor and a folding prop should be great! If not, it will make a nice seagull deterrent.

Great eye catcher. I know I've seen other similar rc "birds". Anybody recall the links to any of them?

IPFlyer,
If you decide to get one keep us posted on your experience. I've never ordered from an overseas store. Would be interested how it all goes as a potential buyer.

Anyone know of any other similar type kits out there? My building skills are not the greatest.

Plans are at parkjets.com, details in my blog.

I don't want to sidetrack this thread though, that bird looks cool. I thought about doing a bluecore turkey buzzard so I can fly with the vultures at our field... maybe someday.

Bidlynd,
Is the wing held on with rubberbands? Its hard to tell from the pictures. Could you show a picture with the wing removed. Would just like to see how everything fits inside.
Thanks. Rick
