Can someone suggest a brushless setup for the JR voyager?

What is the best brushless setup for the JR Voyager? Also what battery pack should go with this brushless setup?

Don, welcome to the Zone and here is a link to motor discussions for the Voyager!

Use the search and you will find that many questions have been covered before!

Also, there are quite a few Aveox motors on Ebay right now! Look at something like the 1409/2Y or a combo from Castle Creations from the Sponsor links above!

I'm using the Burchert motor from FliteCraft in Canada. It works great, about 12 flights now and it runs smooth, no problems. Cost about $350.00 US.

Also check out the website of Mr. T.Shimizu at:

He has tested brushless motors to the endth degree and has meticulously documented his tests on his website. There are many hours of reading on that site.

Good luck

The Borchert setup from the Greys in Canada is a good way to go I've tried Aveox RC7 without good success, But the Borchert give incredibly good power and flight duration. 7-8 minutes. and the power easily rivaled that of a 30 size machine running real good on 30% nito. Later Ron
